Interaction. What is interactive art? Basics of computer vision, motion detection, object tracking, face tracking, eye tracking. Look at “White glove tracking”. Glyph tracking. Brightest Pixel.
Processing. Iteration, the process of repeating a set of steps over and over and over. The while loop, the only loop you really need if stuck on a desert island. The for loop, while’s more succinct brother.
Assignment: Make a 30 second sound using either found or recorded sounds. Combine sounds from different sources. Download and explore with the free sound application Audacity. You can extract sounds from youtube videos using keepvid.com. I realize we haven’t done this in class but explore Audacity and see what you can come up with. Remember, you can loop sounds, copy and paste bits of sounds, just like in a word processor.

Assignment: Create a stitched image from at least 5 photos that you take yourself. Use photoshop’s autostitch tool, or do it yourself by hand. Post the resulting image (high resolution please).
