Airpark Signs

“We do the Jewlry” Was one of the many one liners that had us all on the edge of our sets while visiting with Gretchen Cherill of Airpark Signs. As she talked about her business I sat and took in the worderful surroundings of the confrence room.

There was a sense of pride in the work the quality that did not go unnoticed. I remember thinking to myself this is the kind of work that I would like to do. I want to make the “jewelry.”

As the group toured the facility I can also tell that the passion was contagious. I had never heard somebody referred to signage has jewelry. But it just made sense this idea of well-crafted purposeful unique pieces.

Today was educational and inspiring. My initial thought was the this class would be a bunch of “suits” sitting in front of us lecturing us on how they do business. What I’m experiencing are very passionate people interesting life stories. They are eager to share their successes and failures. I can’t wait to see where we go next.
